Prologue ...

Right from the moment of our birth, we are under the care and kindness of our parents, and then later on in our life when we are oppressed by sickness and become old, we are again dependent on the kindness of others. Since at the beginning and end of our lives we are so dependent on other's kindness, how can it be in the middle that we would neglect kindness towards others?

When we saw you , we were afraid to meet you ...
When we met you , We were to love you ...
When we loved you , we were afraid to kiss you ...
Now that we love and we cant miss you ...

The Journey Beyond ...

The moment we stepped into Shine Special School,

We knew, yes we knew…..

That we had to do something special,

To reach out and touch;

The life of those gifted few.

Bright eyes that looked up,

Noisy feet that danced,

Sweet chatters that echoed,

Honey voices that sang,

Sweet hands that held on,

Little arms that curled around,

All just seemed to say, don’t leave us alone…..alone.

We winced in pain for long, for long.

We looked at us not once but twice,

Good food, shelter and warmth,

Good hands and feet had we,

Good thoughts to take us ahead,

But all this just didn’t make us feel any better.

Oh my, Oh my,

We thought and thought,

What was it that made them so different?

What was it that made us think?

What was it that they had within?

What was it that wrung our heart in pain?

A smile they had……

The joy they shared…….

A life they lived……..

An attitude so lofty….as if….they were born to rule the world.

They will, they will, rule the world one day

As……

A mission they had, to surge ahead,

And smile back at life and say,

Yeah we did it, we did it,

We are born to rule the world in our own sweet way today…..

So we knew,

What we had to do…..

With a little effort, some hope,determination and courage in plenty,

We marched forward…hand in hand,

With the children of The Shine School.

To make their life……even our life

A little better, just a wee little better,

Better that what they desire it to be.

Been Living a Life of what I wished and of what I loved , I have never seen the other side of the Life . According to me , Life is all to learn, enjoy, and disappear. I always took life to its positive and never ever turn back at the things, but our visit to the Shine school made me not just to turn back at life but to wonder how people with almost nothing could laugh heartily … And then did I learnt that all they have in them is something more powerful than all of us have, something that we cant see but could be felt.

I can almost see the Dream they are Dreaming and every step they take , every move they make with all their heads held high. Sometimes Life’s is an uphill battle, but for those It is a matter of battle everyday with Life… Being with them for a day , just didn’t left me with a hard heart but taught me that Everybody has to Fight their own Battle of Life. Its not about how fast you get there in Life and don’t expect what Life has for you. Sometimes Life knock us down and It is up to us to either stand back or get knocked forever, those kids whom I like to call ‘ the Courageous’ … B’cause they not just stood back but had all the courage to Laugh at the life itself …

Listen to the Unsung ...

I was sad of thinking after I saw the kids of Shine school that people with hands and legs are not still satisfied with what they have and complain LIfe.

I felt so bad when I saw of Shine school. Imagine if we are in same situation what would you do.So please help them and lead them to keep their faces shine. I cried on hearing those kids. Please be a part of the Lead and Shine Team and help as much possible as you can ...

Even though we are gifted with healthy organs we are not satisfied with that , but I saw in that video of students having turned feet, many of them unable to control their neck and head. I will help them by giving love, care and money.The lead and Shine team of our school are leading them to shine....

Voices Of the Kingdomites ...

We are very fortunate that we are gifted with all body parts . For those who are physically or mentally challenged , we should help them in many ways.We can visit their school and give them the support - Not to GIVE UP in Life. We can give the shine school money to build new school as there is not enough room in the school.
